Wanna get away? Welcome to the Southwest, haha.
Now, for all my Midwest friends, please hear my heart correctly, this is not bragging about nice weather while you are all in blizzard conditions, I’m praying that you’re all safe cause I knew what it was like the last 12 years.
However, YEARS ago I had a dream to be somewhere warm, didn’t know when it would be or how it would happen, but the thought and the goal was there.
I knew if I stuck with the game plan of pursuing excellence in everything I did, delayed my desire to move sooner (when I had so many friends leave the Midwest for warmer climates) and put in the work, that it would pay off.
And it did, now with an amazing opportunity to do bigger and better things, network with like-minded entrepreneurs who are at the next level I want to be, and be surrounded by the boujee environment I knew I deserved to be in because of my last decade of early mornings and long nights when no one was watching or quite frankly cared.
And guess what, that work ethic hasn’t changed since being in AZ. In fact, it’s gotten more intense, more laser focused, and my capacity is MUCH MUCH greater than even a couple years ago.
We understand the responsibility of inspiring and leading now with the life my wife and I are blessed to have. But we're just scratching the surface, the best is yet to come.
The quality of your life and the level of your income has a direct correlation to your emotional intelligence and dedication to the small seemingly insignificant parts of your life.
My point is…the rewards we have now, the new responsibilities and opportunities we now have…it ALL started with a thought and desire, we built the game plan, then executed it for YEARS before any results popped up.
So if you’re sitting there wondering when it’s going to happen, or when your breakthrough will come, know that it will AS LONG AS you don’t veer from the game plan or process and give up when you’re 3 feet from gold.
Stay warm to my Midwest friends, but continue your pursuit. It’s mambayear. Don’t let the weather of life stop you and make you doubt your dreams and goals. They are yours for the taking.
