It's inevitable.
At some point in sales, business, entrepreneurship or even your job if not one of those three, your integrity will be tested. How much you're willing to skirt the line of bad character and deceitful actions will test how convicted you are in the truth.
Customers will ask you to commit fraudulent actions on their behalf. Business coaches and mentors will take advantage of your naivety on a certain subject or legal business process if you're not careful.
I've been lied to, I've been exploited, I've been manipulated, I've been cheated. Fortunately, not recently. But I am reminded of today is the last thing I am is a victim to the circumstances others choose to create around me. They're not in control of how I respond, I AM.
This is when character becomes convicted.
Especially when times are hard. When times are hard, people get emotional and do irrational things.
Before you act, think.
Before you speak, pray.
If you're exhausted, take a nap.
The wrong decision happens when you're emotional, tired, burnt out, caving to external pressure.
Don't let a short-term emotional decision cloud the clarity of your long-term purpose and desire to be great.
